On offer from June 24th, the 32 renovated two-bedroom maisonettes in Kildare Close, formerly owned by the Ministry of Defence, will start at £119,950. The sale is the first of three phases at Annington Heights, with the other phases due to be sold later in the year.

Selling methods and "home buyer incentives" on offer mean that many first-time buyers and key workers from the local area will be able to get a foot on the property ladder, the Bordon Herald reports.

First-time buyers have snapped up a third of the homes that Annington has sold previously in the area and the company is offering to pay the five per cent deposit for home buyers at Annington Heights and purchasers will also be offered money towards legal and survey costs.

Janice Barnfather, Annington's regional sales manager said: "Important members of the community, such as nurses, firefighters and teachers are being priced out of areas where they work or want to live. Annington Heights is offering a realistic solution for people to afford to stay in this area."
