UCB Home Loans extends free valuation offer
23-Nov-2006
UCB Home Loans has announced the extension of its free valuation offer, which may benefit first time buyers.
Extended as a result of positive feedback from independent financial advisers, the free valuation offer is available to first time buyers and repeat purchasers looking to buy-to-let or remortgage their property.
Free valuations are also available on self-certification mortgages.
"This offer has been extremely popular with customers and the feedback we have received from intermediaries has prompted us to extend the offer for a further two weeks," said Keith Astill, managing director at UCB Home Loans.
Rather than offering the free valuation as a refund, UCB Home Loans has taken the decision to completely remove the fee.
UCB Home Loans is the specialist lending arm of Nationwide, offering mortgages to customer via intermediaries.
