Redrow targets first time buyers in Lincoln

20-Jun-2007

First time buyers in Lincoln are getting a helping hand from a new award-winning innovative Debut range from Redrow.

With house prices soaring across the country and increased competition faced from buy-to-let investors, novice buyers are being priced out of the market.

However, a new range at Bunkers Hill, consisting of one and two-bedroom homes starting from as little as £60,000, is being welcomed by first-time buyers in the area.

A number of young professionals attended the launch event over the weekend to view plans for the 124-property development.

Commenting on the new range, Catherine Cloke, area sales manager for Redrow Homes, said: "The stylish and modern Debut properties are designed to meet the needs of those starting out and those starting over and offer a number of innovative features including just one monthly services charge covering gas, electricity, buildings insurance and external maintenance."

She added: "Even the most expensive properties at Bunkers Hill fall below the threshold for stamp duty, making them ideal for first time buyers, trying to take their first step on the property ladder."

With a number of the properties having been sold, interest remains high for the other Debut properties.
