Persimmon Homes releases new first time buyer properties

05-Oct-2006

Persimmon Homes, the UK's largest home builder, has announced the release of three new properties in South Yorkshire, which it claims are idea for first time buyers.

The new first time buyer range is located at the firms Meadowcroft development in Harworth, where the three-bedroom properties can be purchased for around 85 per cent of the current market value, reports Property News.

"While new homes in many places across the UK represent excellent value for money, as an industry we have to accept that many first time buyers … are finding it difficult to get a foot on the property ladder," said Keith Maskill, sales director for Persimmon Homes South Yorkshire.

Prices range from just under £95,000 to £97,745 and have been agreed by Bassetlaw Council, following an independent valuation.
