Mortgage Advice for First Time Buyers, First Time Buyer Mortgages and First Mortgage Advice

New website launched for homebuyers looking to share

14-Feb-2007

A new website has been launched today which could be of interest to first time buyers looking to purchase a property with a like-minded individual or group.

First time buyers and repeat purchasers registering with SmartSharedHomes.com are now able to establish a profile and make contact with individuals or groups that they think might be suitable for buying a property with.

The service could also be of interest to buy-to-let property investors looking for an investment partner and offers over 120,000 new home suggestions to customers each year.

"People have been renting with strangers for years and this is a logical next step," said David Bexon, managing director of SmartNewHomes.com.

"Obviously there is a greater financial risk when you're purchasing a property together, but if people are sensible and follow the necessary advice … there is no reason why a group … can't combine their funds," he added.

To find out more about buying a property with friends, family or to find a co-buyer, go to our joint ownership/equity section.
