New affordable homes for Cardiff

A £200 million project to provide affordable housing is currently being developed in Cardiff's Roath Basin area.
Igloo Regeneration Partnership, Britain's first urban regeneration fund, has been chosen as the development partner for the scheme, according to the Trinity Mirror.
It is thought that this programme will be one of the most significant waterfront developments in the UK and is set to provide over £1,000 affordable homes for first-time buyers.

"Roath Basin has the potential to be one of the most successful waterside developments anywhere in Britain," Andrew Davies, economic development and transport minister, told the newspaper.
He went on to say that the team was going to provide a "vibrant, world-class neighbourhood, which will be a flagship for Cardiff and for the whole of Wales".
