Aspiring homeowners are increasingly turning to mobile, or park homes as an alternative way to get onto the property ladder.

And as the government looks for a solution to the growing housing crisis, ministers are increasingly considering developing more park homes that can be sold off as affordable housing.

Joan Clark, director general of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association (BH&HPA), explains: "It is a very nice form of housing. It builds a very settled form of community."
As the opinion towards park homes begins to change, both among the public and the government, aspiring homeowners could find the mobile dwellings as the perfect alternative, particularly as they can be picked up for as little as £20,000.
