Leeds and Bristol 'are next big things'
30-Mar-2007
In news which may be of interest to would-be first time buyers, Leeds and Bristol have been tipped to become the next big property "hotspots".
According to Propertyfinder.com, as a result of programmes of regeneration and development, Leeds and Bristol are set to repeat the growth that Manchester enjoyed from its own urban redevelopment programmes over the last five years, which could be attractive to first time home buyers looking for growth returns on their property.
"Data pulled from our site can give us a clear mapping of the most popular places in the UK to invest in property," said Warren Bright, chief executive of Propertyfinder.com.
"All these cities have experienced serious regeneration and development in recent years and are now starting to reap the benefits, attracting home buyers who want to invest in a city lifestyle," he added.
In addition to Leeds and Bristol, Propertyfinder.com places a number of other cities in its top five list of hot property locations, including Cardiff and Birmingham.
