Goa 'getting cheaper' for investors

03-Apr-2007

In news which may be of interest to first time home buyers looking to buy abroad, Goa is becoming a cheaper location to invest, an expert has claimed.

According to Les Calvert from Property Abroad.com, investors - which may include first time home buyers - are attracted to Goa's low-cost properties, in addition to the state being an attractive holiday destination.

"It's certainly cheap … Goa's the most popular holiday destination and that's where attracts the most enquiries," said Mr Calvert.

It's always popular and of interest over the winter period; that's when most people go to Goa," he added.

Indeed, a generous two-bedroom apartment can be bought in Goa for £5,500, the firm claims.
