First time home buyer news: New virtual tour of affordable homes
21-Jun-2006
A housing group is now offering first time buyers the chance to take virtual tours of affordable homes that may not yet have been built.
Dominion Housing Group has developed a multimedia system to allow aspiring homeowners to view property interiors at the touch of a screen.
Hayley Morgan, Dominion Housing Group's sales and marketing manager, indicated that the touch screen system has made a huge difference to the way the group sells homes.
"Our buyers can now find the exact location of their apartment within a block and also get a good visual feel of the development as a whole, without even leaving the room," she said.
"This is especially useful for when we can't get access to specific floors which are still in construction."
The system uses tailor-made software to bring affordable homes to life and allows first time buyers to view internal and external photographs of the property along with price lists and maps of the local area.
