31-Aug-2005

Richard Horden has designed the Micro Compact House, which is a cube that can be made from wood, aluminium and plastic, and sell for just £30,000.

Mr Horden claims that the cubes would be ideal as affordable alternatives for key workers, by providing them with temporary accommodation.

Explaining the advantages of owning a cube, Mr Horden commented: "It's a very high quality product, it isn't like a caravan."
