First-time buyers 'given helping hand' by Barratt

10-Mar-2008

House builder Barratt has offered first-time buyers a helping hand with its Panorama development in Plymouth, where it recently held a weekend dedicated to those looking to get onto the property ladder.

Unveiled last year, Panorama is in close proximity to the city centre and boasts its own village green, but the group say it is the prices that potential buyers will find the most attractive.

As part of the Dream Start scheme, buyers can purchase affordable housing such as a one-bedroom property for £114,000, two-bedroom houses for £122,000 and a three-bedroom property for £143,250.

Barratt sales manager Mary Daymond commented: "With affordability one of the main issues for first-time buyers, it was Dream Start and our other first-time buyer initiatives that everyone wanted to know more about because we offer a number of ways to boost affordability. So our first-time buyers weekend was a huge success."
