Competition launched to win house for £1

24-Nov-2006

A local businessman in Cornwall has launched a competition to win up to three properties, with a minimum investment of £1.

Although Trevor Perry has expressed a desire for each of the three properties to be won by first time buyers, the competition is open to anyone providing they either dial a premium rate phone number or send a premium rate text.

Entry into the competition costs £1 per house.

"My competition is open to anyone, but it would be really superb if first time buyers were to win. They have a much chance as anyone else of winning, that's the beauty of the competition," said Mr Perry.

"Selling your house through an agent can set you back thousands in fees … but with a competition like this, it can be done so much more cheaply," he added.

In order to run the competition, Mr Perry has established a limited company - details of which can be viewed at www.house4apound.tv - and has utilised the services of NTL to cover the logistical requirements of the competition.

NTL is a UK-based telecommunications company, offering a range of services including cable television and broadband internet access.
