Barclays has announced the launch of a new overseas intermediary website, which could help clients, such as prospective first time buyers, obtain mortgages for properties in France, Spain, Portugal and Italy.

The new website contains a number of intermediary tools and has been designed to help advisers provide information on living and buying outside of the UK, which may be of interest to prospective first time buyers looking to invest or move abroad.

Indeed, the website contains a number of services and features, including policy fact sheets, income assessment tables and country specific step-by-step guides.

Barclays offers a range of financial products and services, including mortgages and current accounts.
