First time buyers in the UK looking for an alternative way to get on the property ladder are being offered the opportunity to set up home in Australia.

As such, key worker homes are currently on offer at very low prices in the region, where house prices are already well below levels in the UK.
South Australia's government has revealed that its population has significantly dropped in recent times, resulting in a desperate need for key workers such as doctors and nurses, teachers and policemen.
As a result, the federal government has changed the rules to make it easier for UK citizens to work and live in the region, and as such many key workers are being wooed by the opportunity to get a foot on the property ladder and acquire cheap housing in the country.

Australia appears to be the perfect destination for those looking into fly-to-let deals, whereby an aspiring homeowners buys property in a country where prices are much lower than the UK, and then rents it out as a standard buy-to-let property.
