Affordable housing call as Norwich gets property boom
29-Mar-2006
Norwich is set to receive an increase in the number of new homes being built in the city, it has been revealed.
According to the Norwich Evening News, the city is ready to meet the government's target of building over 10,000 new homes by 2021 and is even prepared to take on 4,000 more.
That has sparked hopes among campaigners that Norwich will be able to take on an increase in the number of affordable housing projects that can be set up in the area, thereby enabling more aspiring first time buyers to get onto the first rung of the property ladder.
